Who Cut the Cheese?This policy explains how Who Cut the Cheese? (the "app"), published by Artrekker LLC ("we", "us"), handles information. The short version: we don't ask for your name, email or any account, and we don't collect personal information ourselves.
Who the app is for
The app is a family game rated 13+ on the App Store, but we know younger children may play it. Because of that we treat every player as a child: ads are set to child-directed, family-friendly (G-rated) and non-personalised, as described below.
What stays on your device
Your game progress, stars and best score are saved only on your device. We never receive them. Deleting the app deletes them.
Ads
The free version shows ads through Google AdMob. We configure AdMob for child-directed treatment, non-personalised ads and a maximum content rating of G. In this mode AdMob does not use advertising identifiers to build profiles or personalise ads. AdMob may still process limited technical information such as your IP address, device type, operating system and app events in order to deliver ads, measure them and prevent fraud. The "extra toilet roll" button offers an optional ad. Watching it is never required to play.
Remove Ads purchase
The one-time Remove Ads purchase is processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to confirm the purchase and unlock the feature. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier, your purchase receipt and basic device information. We never see your payment details or Apple ID. See RevenueCat's privacy policy. Purchases are protected by a "grown-ups only" question so children can't buy by accident.
What we don't do
- We don't require an account or collect names, email addresses, photos, contacts or precise location.
- We don't track you across other companies' apps and websites.
- We don't sell personal information.
- The app has no chat, social features or user-generated content.
Your choices and rights
Because we don't collect personal information ourselves, there's nothing for us to access or delete. If you're a parent or guardian and have questions about your child's use of the app, or about data held by our ad or purchase providers, contact us and we'll help or point you to the right provider.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above. Significant changes will be explained in the app or on this page.
